Lead with confidence, conviction and capacity.

We believe that leaders across all sectors have the power to transform not just their teams, but the communities they serve.

At Neptune Coaching, our mission is to help leaders unlock their capacity to lead with clarity, earn trust, and create meaningful impact.

Leadership isn’t easy—especially when expectations are high, resources are limited, and the pressure to perform is constant.

We’ve seen talented leaders struggle—not because they lacked skills, but because traditional leadership training doesn’t always translate into the real-world complexities of their roles.

We founded Neptune Coaching to help expert leaders develop the people management and leadership skills needed to drive transformational change.

Drawing from our backgrounds in organizational psychology, public administration, social services, and community development, we’ve developed a research-backed, practical approach to leadership coaching—one that helps leaders earn authority, drive transformational change, and create workplaces where people thrive.

Through our research-backed strategies and real-world experience, we equip leaders with the skills and frameworks to cultivate thriving, high-performing teams and drive meaningful, sustainable change.

We’re leadership coaches with unique expertise in leadership development, organizational strategy, and systems thinking.

Meet Anthony

Anthony is an executive coach and organizational development consultant with extensive experience as a nonprofit leader in complex, challenging environments.

He holds a Master in Organizational Psychology from William James College and a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.

Anthony's work spans direct service, management, and executive coaching across the nonprofit, private, and higher education sectors. He began his career as direct support staff and moved into management roles across residential and school settings, where he obtained certifications in trauma-informed crisis intervention and effective supervision. He went on to develop the first-ever leadership development program for staff at MassBay Community College and has provided coaching and consulting to nonprofit and public sector organizations, including City of Boston Cabinet leaders. He is skilled at translating complex organizational dynamics into clear, actionable frameworks and building cultures of accountability and trust that enable teams to do their best work.

Anthony is driven by a conviction that nonprofit organizations can only effectively serve those who depend on them when their own teams are supported, developed, and set up to thrive. It's a conviction he brings to every coaching relationship and one he shares with his co-founder and wife, Betsy.

Meet Betsy

Betsy Neptune is an executive coach and organizational development consultant with deep expertise in leadership development, talent life cycle management, and organizational culture change in the nonprofit and public sectors.

She holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, is a Prosci-Certified Change Practitioner, and is trained in the Fearless Organization Scan, a psychological safety assessment she uses to help teams build cultures of trust and candor.

Betsy's work spans the full range of public and nonprofit leadership, from advising large public institutions to leading nonprofit teams herself. She has consulted with a wide range of leaders across the City of Boston, other municipalities, and state agencies. As Regional Executive Director of BUILD Northeast, she led a team rebuild that drove a 70% increase in the number of students served. She is also a contracted trainer with the Massachusetts Municipal Association for municipal executives statewide.

Betsy is driven by a deep conviction that nonprofit and public sector organizations have a special obligation to their communities, and that living up to that obligation starts with investing in the people and leaders entrusted to carry it out. It's a conviction she brings to every coaching relationship and one she shares with her co-founder and husband, Anthony.
